SEMODU – Modular Microclinic

A mobile microclinic for crisis areas

In many countries, hospital beds during the Corona-crisis were scarce. To solve this life-threatening problem, a German company came up with the idea of a modular and mobile microclinic

The microclinic features either 20 or 40 intensive care unit beds, a mini-laboratory and ventilators; it  was developed with medical professionals and designed for the special needs of corona patients and their medical staff. After the modules have been produced, the clinic can be set up in just seven days. The clinics are mobile, so they can be installed wherever they are needed, for example in parking lots in front of hospitals. In addition, the modular microclinic can be converted or expanded at any time and also be used for any type of crisis area after the current pandemic.
